Questions

Hello everyone,

The weather was lovely over the weekend, wasn't it?

I received a lovely card from Lisa Gorton , after I wrote to her thanking her for wonderful insight into Donne. She thanked us for our enthusiasm, and for the warm reception she had from our class. A credit to you all.

Can you please access your email for further information regarding Wednesday.

Mrs Dr Who and RS, can you please email me so I have your addresses, as these were not given to me earlier.

Thanks, hope you're all feeling rested and well.

JC

  2. i felt the necessity to comment that last night i watched a TV Series titled Lost In Austen. I was unsure and perhaps a little uneasy at the beginning of the episode as i thought it may be a little offensive towards Austen and her masterpiece, Pride and Prejudice. However, i loved it, i thought it was absolute genius. The series explores a world of Pride and Prejudice twisted and muddled within itself. Every character has something to hide, and every secret will be revealed.
What an interesting twist on Austen??

You can watch it on UKTV (Foxtel),
    at about 9.15 on Wednesdays.

The TV Show just made me even more eager to get studying Pride and Prejudice.

  3. Oh thanks elisha, Yes, it's a very amusing series, isn't it. Very smart idea - time travelling back into P+P, and swapping places with LIzzie Bennet. Major inaccuracies with the clothing of course, and much of the behaviour of the Austen characters, so it must be taken for what it is. I loved it. JC
